TIME has announced its 2011 TIME 100 Poll. It asks readers to “cast your votes for the leaders, artists, innovators, icons and heroes that you think are the most influential people in the world.” The Top 100 will be included in TIME’s annual TIME 100 special edition. We encourage you to vote for Ray Kurzweil to draw more public attention towards the Singularity.

As of 5:00 p.m. PDT, ranking at 31, Ray Kurzweil is just above Steve Jobs. Coming in at 199 and 200: Charlie Sheen and Snooki.
